According to many studies, authenticity is one of the most important components of effective and impactful leadership. You have probably attended some training programs where you learned about the importance of values and purpose; you may have gone through an exercise of defining them for yourself. And yet, when faced with the pressures of your daily responsibilities, you may find it challenging to always let your values and purpose guide your actions. Another one could be your mindset. If your concern for the security of your position and reputation is stronger than your sense of purpose, it could be challenging to be an authentic leader. If you are unsure of the value of your own voice, it might be difficult for you to speak up.
This Retreat is an opportunity to expand your skills and capacity for Authentic Leadership.

"Feeling calm, happy, hopeful and energized"; Elena Johnson, Physical Therapist"I learned that a better way to lead is to ask curious questions and to gain an understanding of the other person's perspective." C.D. Senior Executive, USG"It was wonderful to have a day structured for me, instead of managing my time. That felt like a treat! Plus, it had built-in breaks, a built-in time to get outside (which I used to go for a run), and built-in meal times. Everything I needed, even some things I didn't know I needed." S.A. We will stay at a charming, small bed and breakfast called Rehoboth Guest House. Breakfast is included, and you will be within a short walk from the beach, shops, cafes, restaurants, and such.
You’ll walk away with an inspiring statement of purpose that’s unique to you, and a way to use it any time you are facing a choice in your business, family, or community. This tool will help you stay on the path towards making the world a better place in a way that only you can. You’ll be invited to announce your leadership purpose to others, and to commit to an action that will take you even closer to being an authentic leader at work and at home. Just imagine: fresh air in your face, sand on your feet, ocean waves coming in and out, sun setting on the horizon, making you feel vibrant and alive, pulling and pushing you above and beyond your day-to-day grind. What might be possible? We’ll spend most of our time outdoors – either at the B&B or on the beach. And we have a plan for bad weather! There will be about 10 hours of guided activity, and the rest is for you to spend as you please – walking the beach, getting a massage, exploring the shops, art galleries, chocolate and coffee in town, or getting a private session with one of us.

Our main goal is to support you as you remove barriers we all have between us and our own wisdom and knowledge. In the words of poet David White, "Poetry is the language against which there is no defense." We rely on art, movement, coaching, and community to remove the defenses and give you full access to your leadership voice.
